Calling all white glove massive! One of the currently most celebrated duos in Drum and Bass are back with two old-school meets new-school bangers forging a flawlessly fresh take on the Hardcore Continuum!

Kicking off the rave is “Right Now” paying homage to the foundations of Jungle, Drum and Bass in UK Hardcore with its use of deep pads and filtered strings reminiscent of atmospheric Jungle accompanied by pushing Jungle drum work with a modern twist. If you think that things can’t get better the break induces even more uplifting vibes with cleverly arranged high-pitched rave vox-snips and a euphoric piano-melody which will get all crews demanding for a pull-up. Let’s come together, right now, in sweet harmony. This tune is a stand-out approach to bringing together contemporary
Drum and Bass with the best of 30 years of rave with its utopian potential and positive feelings in mind. Ya know the score!

“When I Was A” is a beautifully crafted track, opening with beats like butter and galvanic Happy Hardcore piano chords. The appealing theme is alternated with switches to passages in which the flow is taken over by sub-lows with a Jungle touch. The electrifying bassline is underpinned by vocal-snips and an effective arrangement. The English producer duo Unkoded - consisting of Kodan and Unkut – are famous for blending soulful, rolling Jungle with the necessities of modern Drum and Bass. No wonder that they’ve previously released on some of the biggest labels the scene has to offer and that most of the a-list DJs have Unkoded tracks in their bags. “When I Was A” makes no exception and shows why the producer team is in demand. Put on your boiler suits, smiley faces, visors, bucket hats, show a little bit of midriff and hold your lighter up for this roller!
