Known for their boundary breaking partnership in producing bad boy bangers on many top shelf imprints and for claiming the term Koreanstep, German sombre maestro Kaiza and Korean beat-smith Xeomi join forces again on the highly anticipated Horns EP. Don’t sleep on this fully loaded package of high energy rave heaters with contemporary Jungle twist meeting upfront Drum and Bass!

“Haste” opens with the distinctive vocal “I’m a warrior marching through the crack, heroes calling back” which carves out a pathway for some very cool chopped Jungle inspired beats to trailblaze through this special tune. Soundsystem culture FXs, deadly deep subs and an additional bassline melody will shake mind, body and soul whilst the vocal will embrace crowds singing it back on dancefloors this winter.

Punctuated by rumbling basslines, 80ties influenced pads, atmospheric brass and strings, “Horns” is a ride with epic feel carried by cleverly crafted beats. Fill-ins and supplementary basslines are interspersed in such a way that a perfect emotional stepper emerges.

“Rollerblade” blends beefy breaks with a subtle saxophone loop and a devasting drop which is going to blow your speakers. The shredder of a bassline is wrapped by skippy riddims and percussive backings including full guarantee to resonate with a lot of ravers out there who enjoy dancing in huge bass havocs.

Stepping up with a cinematic feel “Sahara Dawn”, turns heads and warm hearts by ease. Warm chords and a percussive framework led to a fresh Drum and Bass push fueled by skippy drums and rude modulations.

Kaiza is no stranger to murky and techy beats that cause pure dancefloor-annihilation. Since 2006 Kaiza pumps out high-quality music across a whole host of labels. The Drum and Bass heavyweight from the South of Germany is respected for his consistent focus on energy driven Drum and Bass of all kinds. Besides Florian Kaiser is the label head and operator of T3K Recordings and sets dancefloors on fire with his ruff and rugged DJ-sets. With the Horns EP Kaiza showcases his versatility as an artist.

Hailing from South Korea, Xeomi can be found in the front row when it comes to exploring the twilight avenues of Breakbeats. Techy and heavy rolling tunes with a style from the dark side is what Xeomi has become synonymous with. Due to his extraordinary skills, the rising star has managed to impress not only Mixmag but a lot of beat connoisseurs around the world. Xeomi is definitely a warrior to watch out for.

There have been few duos making their lasting mark on the Drum and Bass scene, and Xeomi & Kaiza are one of them for sure. Original Key shows why the tag team is famous for their ability to create dangerous bangers that cause carnage every time they’re unleashed on the floor!
